Chinese Checkers - Walnut

A woodworkers elegant Chinese Checkers uses Walnut for the board, but six different woods of different colors and grain structures to be the pieces. 

The pieces are made of Purpleheart, Cherry, Osage Orange, Wenge, Birch, and Zebrawood. Even going as far as to use an old piece of sentimental wood for the Cherry pieces.

A custom engraving on the back pairs with a legend of the wood types that uses inlays of each wood for identification. 

A lacquer finish protects the board and pieces.
